Why we make so little
by falan·08 May 2026·3 min
Few things, made well. Not a manifesto — just a habit, and a bit of peace of mind.
Scaling inventory is easy. Take one design, multiply it into five colours, print hundreds in every size. The hard part is making one thing well and standing behind it.
Making little keeps us honest. With no mountain of stock to move, we don't have to trick anyone into buying. You like it, you take it; you don't, no problem — there wasn't much of it anyway.
And there's this: what's scarce carries weight. A tee not everyone has means a little more, for that reason alone. We build that with genuine scarcity, not the fake kind.
Maybe one day we grow, maybe we don't. But even if we grow, we won't break the rule: when it's gone, let it actually be gone.
When it's gone, it's actually gone. That's why we don't rush.
